Condensed Water Test Climates
Test specimens are placed in an enclosed chamber, and exposed to a changing climate that comprises of the following two part repeating cycle. 8 hours exposure in a heated, saturated mixture of air and water vapour, at a temperature of +40C and a relative humidity of 100%RH. This is followed by 16 hours exposure to room temperature (+18 to +28C according to DIN 50 014) and a relative humidity of less than 100%RH. The number of cycle repeats and therefore the test duration is variable.
